By downloading, installing, or using Family Tapestry ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These Terms apply to the mobile app, web editor, and all related services provided by Octopye Digital Designs ("we", "us", "our").
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use cloud features, in compliance with COPPA and similar regulations. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 13 or older.
The app's local-only mode (without an account) may be used by individuals of any age under appropriate parental or guardian supervision.

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Family Tapestry, including family names, member details, photos, canvas designs, and any other data you enter ("Your Content").
By using cloud sync, you grant us a limited licence to store, transmit, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and your invited collaborators. We do not claim any ownership of Your Content.

The Family Tapestry app, including its design, code, graphics, animations, sounds, and all related materials, is the property of Octopye Digital Designs and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the app or its content without our written permission.
We strive to keep Family Tapestry available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Octopye Digital Designs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, if any.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
